Draw a flow with a few lines of text, sketch with a full diagram editor, or write by hand.

Chart / diagram
Type /chart to add a diagram written as text. NoteMaker draws it for you, in the colours of your theme. This is useful for flowcharts, sequence diagrams and timelines, because the diagram stays easy to edit: change a word and the drawing changes.
For example:
flowchart LR
A[Idea] --> B[Draft]
B --> C{Review}
C -->|Approved| D[Publish]
C -->|Changes| BResize a diagram with the grip on its right edge, or choose S, M, L or Full.
draw.io diagram
Type /draw.io to open a full diagram editor in a window. Draw boxes, arrows, icons and layouts, then save. The result is stored as a picture on the page, and the diagram data is kept inside it, so you can reopen it later and carry on editing.
Scribble
Type /scribble, or tap the floating Scribble button on a tablet. A full-screen pad opens with a pen, a highlighter, an eraser, colours and sizes. Once a pen has touched the screen, finger touches are ignored so your palm does not leave marks. Undo and redo are in the toolbar. When you save, the drawing becomes an image on the page, and you can open it again to add more.
On a tablet there is no keyboard to type /, which is why the Scribble button is always visible there.
