Your daily log is one page per day where you plan the day, note what got done and write down what is in the way. Open it with one click, and anything you left unfinished yesterday is already waiting in today's plan.
Open today's log
Choose Today's log on Home or at the top of Pages. NoteMaker opens the log for today, or creates it the first time you press the button that day. Pressing it again later the same day just reopens it.
The page is titled with the date, for example Daily log — Sat 3 Oct 2026, and it is private to you.
What is on the page
A new log has three headings:
Planned: a checklist of what you intend to do.
Achieved: a bulleted list of what you got done.
Notes and blockers: free text for anything else, such as decisions, questions and things that are stuck.
Unfinished tasks carry over
When you start a new day, every task you left unchecked on your previous log is copied into Planned on the new one. Tasks you ticked stay behind on the old page. Edits you made a moment ago count, even if the old page had not finished saving.
Where the pages go
A new log is created next to your latest earlier log, in the same collection or under the same parent page, and with the same icon. Your first log is created on its own at the top level of your pages. Move your latest log into a collection once, and the next ones follow it.
NoteMaker recognises your logs by their title, which starts with "Daily log — ", and by you being their author. If you rename a log to something else, it stops counting as a log.
Use it with agents
A daily log is an ordinary page, so everything on a page works on it: type @ to ask an agent. If your administrator has made them available, the Planner agent can suggest today's plan from your last log, and the Reporter agent can write a status update from your logs. See @ Ask an agent from a page.
